Given COVID-19 guidelines, vacations may be a TAD bit difficult.  So why not experience the world from your couch? Travel without leaving home.

Take virtual tours of your favorite, bucket-list museums. Simply surf the friendly Google wave to see exhibits at the Museum of Modern Art (MOMA) in New York, The Louvre in Paris, the Tate in London, the Uffizi Gallery in Florence, the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam — all for free or at very nominal costs.

Museums not your thing? Then travel digitally to many of America’s national parks – care to take a virtual tour of Yosemite and Yellowstone National Parks?

For animal lovers, rejoice! Experience many of the country’s largest zoos, like Monterey Bay and Georgia Aquariums, as well as the San Diego Zoo, via virtual tours and live webcams, which allow glimpses of animals such as beluga whales, pandas, and penguins.

Although Wuhan celebrated the end of its COVID-19 lockdown, if your bucket list comprises of historical Chinese landmarks, you’re out of luck, unless you take a virtual tour of the Great Wall of China!  

Not thrilling enough for you? Then team up with NASA and go to the moon!  NASA and Google collaborated to create a 3D tour of a Martian surface replica. The Curiosity Rover is responsible for bringing people the 3D view.

So don’t wait.  Just carpe that diem! Believe you me; there’s something to be said about touring the Frida Kahlo Museum in your PJs (no blisters).
